In Chapter 2 of "Oscar and the Monsters," Oscar learns that Mortimer, a shy young monster, lacks friends. To help him, Oscar takes the initiative to create a new club at school for Mortimer to connect with others. However, their blossoming friendship must be kept secret from the rest of the students and Stuart, adding an element of intrigue and challenge to their efforts.
