Launchpad and Darkwing are on the trail of a peculiar group of firebugs that have caused the city banks to lose their gold. Meanwhile, Icy Vanderchill, a frosty duck, finds herself infatuated with Darkwing and starts dating him. However, she conceals a devious plan to cover the entire city in a thick coating of gold.
