Irene Denore, a renowned silent film star, finds herself trapped in her own home, held captive by her unscrupulous business manager, Brad Nicholson, who is gradually draining her wealth. At the same time, reporter Victoria Hunter seeks to leverage Tony for an exclusive interview with Irene. However, Tony is preoccupied with uncovering the real reason behind the actress's refusal to meet anyone.
