Ray is apprehensive about having his adenoids taken out, but Debra persuades him to proceed with the operation. At the hospital, while Marie is in the restroom and everyone else waits in the lobby, the nurse emerges to inform Debra that Ray isn’t regaining consciousness after the anesthesia.
