Episode Overview

Kadi and Daniel Prescott are parents to seven children, ages one to eight. Kadi still grapples with the pain of her father abandoning their family when she was just 13 after revealing his sexuality. This emotional rift weighs heavily on her, especially since Daniel is hesitant about fostering a relationship with her dad. Struggling with feelings of inadequacy as a mother, Kadi often finds herself losing patience, particularly with their seven-year-old son, Daniel, who has been diagnosed with ADHD. She leans on her eldest daughter, Marli, eight, to take on more responsibilities than her siblings, adding to Kadi's sense of isolation. Without friends nearby, Kadi feels lonely until Jo steps in to help mend the relationship with her father, create a support system for Kadi, and guide both parents in managing their son better.
