Despite the buzz, Kevin remains in denial and asks Paul to throw a party at his house, hoping to have a moment alone with Winnie. To stir jealousy, Kevin arrives with Madeline by his side. When he finally gets a chance to speak with Winnie privately, she makes it clear that she wants him in her life, but strictly as a friend.
