Episode Overview

After losing his money and car in a poker game, Kevin realizes it’s time to leave the resort—there’s nothing left for him. The following day, he bids farewell to Winnie, gets into a fight with Eric, and storms off. While hitchhiking, he unexpectedly encounters Winnie, who has just been let go from her job. They argue and miss a ride they had hoped to catch. Seeking refuge in a barn, they discuss the changes in their relationship. Winnie believes growing up is unavoidable, but neither truly accepts it. They share a passionate kiss. The next day, they head back to Kevin's hometown for his final 4th of July celebration, where they discover Karen has returned and is pregnant.
