Episode Overview

In their new relationship, Lilly continually prepares soup for Laz, who becomes increasingly uneasy with the monotony and intensity of her gestures. As they delve deeper into their respective dissatisfaction—Laz disliking the repetitive meals and Lilly resenting the cooking—they find themselves caught in a web of deception that leads to an engagement and a marriage license. Meanwhile, Fred informs Molly about Jasper's breakup with Susan, but she panics over not hearing it from him directly. In an attempt to catch Jasper’s attention, Molly enlists Michelle to help her dress to impress, only to discover that he seems uninterested.
