Harumi Chouno, a woman living with dissociative identity disorder, struggles to resist her alter ego, Maria, who embodies her life as a prostitute. As she becomes more anxious about her situation, a colleague unexpectedly proposes to her. Although she agrees to the proposal, she is consumed by fear that Maria's true identity will be revealed.
