Sandoval's CVI is deteriorating. As Dr. Belman strives to revive his CVI and save him, Sandoval manages to break free and rushes to be with his wife, inadvertently putting her at risk. Meanwhile, Boone discovers that Sandoval's CVI held crucial details about the Taelons' mission on Earth and takes action to attempt to rescue Sandoval from his dire situation.
