However, a reporter secretly infiltrates the lab, and when his camera flash inadvertently activates a biosurrogate, chaos ensues. Sandoval arrives to discover both the reporter and a guard dead, with the activated biosurrogate missing and lacking its own consciousness. Meanwhile, Lili uncovers that Zu'or has corrupted Da'an's research, turning the biosurrogates into lethal weapons.
