Dream On (1990)

Episode Overview

Andre Williams, a passionate black author and friend of Martin, laments the poor promotion of his latest book, "Yo! Homeboy." In an effort to help, Martin arranges for Andre to appear on Eddie's show. However, the segment takes a turn for the worse when Andre labels Eddie as "the world's whitest black dude." This confrontation prompts Eddie to reevaluate his identity and make some adjustments in his life to embrace his "blackness" more fully.
