Episode Overview

Freddie is craving some quality male bonding, so he decides to join Spencer for a fencing session. To his surprise, Freddie excels, but things take a turn when Spencer challenges him to face the formidable Doug Toder. Meanwhile, Carly is left to organize a dinner for her eccentric relatives, the Dorfmans, and with Spencer preoccupied, she fears she won't have much support. In a surprising twist, Sam admits she's never actually read a real book, leading to a wager between her and Freddie: can Sam complete a book by the deadline?
