Episode Overview

In the premiere of the second season, Carly and Sam both find themselves smitten with Freddie's geeky friend, Shane. Unable to agree on who should date him, they come up with the idea that the first one to kiss him wins. Their attempts to get a kiss from Shane are constant but always fall short. Meanwhile, Spencer calls in a repairman to fix the malfunctioning elevator, but instead of a technician, he gets a dancer who offers no help. During the chaos, Shane inadvertently tumbles from the iCarly studio to the basement upon discovering Carly and Sam's rivalry. Later, while visiting him in the hospital, Carly finally manages to kiss him.
