Business is booming at the House of Eliott, and a tempting opportunity to showcase their designs in the USA arises. Meanwhile, Jack reconnects with some old friends from the war but realizes that turning his experiences into a film is more complicated than he anticipated. Upon returning to London, Alexander attempts to see Evie, but Jack and Bea stand firm against his visit. When Evie learns of their underhanded actions, she is far from happy. As Jack receives an offer to direct a film in Germany, he begins to wonder if his relationship with Bea has truly come to an end.
