Dr. Ballard undergoes a miraculous transformation when an extraterrestrial device restores his ability to walk. However, this newfound freedom comes at a high price, as the consciousness of Adam, the alien from Roswell (previously seen in "Lifeboat"), begins to dominate his thoughts.
