Episode Overview

Tony Hill collaborates with the police to investigate the horrific murder of the Johnson family, who were brutally slain in their apartment. When another victim, Sarah Maynard, is found dead in a similar manner, they come to the grim conclusion that a serial killer is at large. Among Tony's students is William MacAdam, a former murderer whose past crimes bear a striking resemblance to the current killings. Having been released after serving his time and deemed rehabilitated, MacAdam now suffers from severe arthritis and has lost the use of his hands. Although Tony suspects him, MacAdam proves to be a cunning adversary.
