Episode Overview

Jess Hode, a disgruntled former trailboss deemed too old by the owners, insists on taking half of Favor's herd in exchange for access to the sole water source in the area. Although Jess' son initially supports his father, he gradually begins to recognize the flaws in his dad's approach. Meanwhile, Favor attempts to find alternative water sources, but all his efforts lead to dry holes.
