Rowdy enlists Jonas Bolt to help lead the herd to the river, but when he discovers Jonas inebriated, he promptly dismisses him. Meanwhile, the saloon owner schemes to deceive Rowdy into relinquishing 1,000 cattle by using Jonas as part of his plan.
