Episode Overview
On this episode of The F Word, Gordon Ramsay is on a quest to find the finest local Chinese restaurant, and for the first time, he’s leading an all-female kitchen. Edinburgh’s Jian Wang from Chop Chop is a dumpling expert, featuring over 60 varieties on her menu. She’ll delight the diners with her spicy garlic squid and signature pork and coriander dumplings. Competing against Jian are Manchester twins Lisa and Helen Tse from Sweet Mandarin, the third generation of female Chinese chefs, hoping to win with their salt and pepper squid and their mother’s clay pot chicken recipe. Meanwhile, Gordon uncovers mitten crab from the River Thames, while Janet Street-Porter showcases her assortment of animals.
