Barney purchases a lavish ring for Betty and entrusts it to Fred for safekeeping. However, Wilma stumbles upon it and mistakenly believes it's meant for her. To resolve the situation, Fred decides to buy a second ring but finds himself short on funds, so he turns to a loan shark in Philadelphia for help.
