Episode Overview

Mariella Frostrup and Rev Richard Coles take the reins for the semi-final of the amateur painting contest, where the five remaining contestants face their most daunting task yet: depicting the human body in motion. For two hours, a solo dancer performs an array of spins and pliés, challenging the artists to push their boundaries. Mentors Diana Ali and Pascal Anson provide guidance, but the pressure is palpable. In the next challenge, a group of ballerinas showcases scenes from Swan Lake, presenting an intimidating obstacle even for the judges. Each artist rises to the occasion, producing remarkable artwork, but only four will advance to the final. The public viewing panel decides who moves forward, while the judges must eliminate one contestant.
