Episode Overview
Princess Celestia and Princess Luna choose to step down from their roles as rulers of Equestria, passing the responsibility on to Twilight Sparkle and her friends. This unexpected change leaves Twilight grappling with feelings of insecurity. At the same time, a long-dormant villain unites a group of malevolent beings with the aim of seizing control over Equestria. This forces Twilight and the rest of the Mane 6 to rally together and confront the threat to protect their home.
