Upon returning from vacation, Hancock and Sid find that Sid neglected to halt any deliveries and has inadvertently left all the appliances running. Faced with rising costs, Hancock resolves that they need to tighten their budget. However, he quickly runs into troubles at the local self-service café, and the stairs in their home become another hurdle for him to manage.
