In this episode, we accompany a team in Suffolk as they reveal an ancient monument dating back to the same era as Stonehenge. We then venture slightly further east to a World War I battlefield in France, examining one of Britain’s earliest and most disastrous tank confrontations. Returning to Suffolk, archaeologists investigate unsettling Roman burial customs.
