In preparation for an African-American cultural festival, Nikki plans to honor her great-uncle, a former player in the Negro Leagues. However, she is taken aback when she discovers that he had a criminal past. At the same time, Kim and Stevie embark on a challenge to experience life without the many innovations created by African-Americans.
