S03E04 Another Kind of War, Another Kind of Peace
Episode Overview
Jonathan tells Mr. Clancy that his late son, who died in Vietnam, had a child. Grieving the loss of his son, Mr. Clancy is initially reluctant to accept the boy. However, he eventually agrees to bring him over. Meanwhile, the boy faces bullying at school as some kids try to extort his lunch money. Mr. Clancy's frustration boils over, and he confronts the bullies. Jonathan then reveals the challenges the grandson has been facing, prompting Mr. Clancy to step in and defend him. Although the bullies attempt to intimidate them, Jonathan empowers Mr. Clancy to stand up for his grandson, leading to a heartfelt reconciliation between them later on.
