Sue, feeling the pressure of adolescence, sets her sights on a trendy pair of jeans to blend in with her classmates. This leads Frankie and Mike to navigate the ups and downs of their teenage kids. Meanwhile, Axl is eager to get a car to catch the attention of a girl. In a bid to instill a sense of responsibility in Brick, Frankie and Mike agree to let him look after Aunt Edie and Aunt Ginny's dog, Doris, for a few days, albeit with some hesitance.
