Frankie tells Mike that his lack of social skills has been inherited by Brick, prompting Mike to realize they both need to improve their social lives. He sees the Heck family BBQ as the ideal opportunity to make that happen. At the same time, Axl decides to clean the family pool, hoping it will attract girls for a swim. Meanwhile, Sue is on a mission to fundraise for her local parish because her new friend, Reverend TimTom, may have to leave to help cut expenses.
