The Middle (2009)

Episode Overview

While out buying baby diapers for Sue, who’s run out during her babysitting gig, Frankie faces embarrassment when a store clerk mistakenly thinks she’s looking for adult diapers. At the same time, Frankie pushes Mike to get a physical, convinced that men age more rapidly than women. Ironically, she injures her back but keeps it a secret from him, just as he shares that he got a clean bill of health from his doctor. Meanwhile, a clueless Sue finds herself smitten with Axl’s friend, Sean, who doesn’t seem to notice her at all, and Brick starts testing various childhood myths, like the one about swallowing watermelon seeds, after learning Frankie has told him those little fibs before.
