After having a few drinks, Frankie impulsively chooses to host a Christmas Eve party at their home, despite Mike's objections. Meanwhile, Mike has secretly purchased a new dishwasher for Frankie as a Christmas gift, but struggles to keep the surprise when she insists on having the old one replaced before the festivities. Sue reaches out to Reverend TimTom to help Brick understand the true meaning of Christmas after he starts questioning the Bible. Additionally, Axl grows frustrated with Bob, who tries excessively hard to impress him while they work together at a Christmas tree lot.
