Episode Overview

The Thatcher family experiences a break-in, leading them to suspect an African-American welder named Marquis, who is also a friend of Paige's and taught her welding. Meanwhile, Drew and Libby discuss the merits of owning a gun for protection. Alone at home, Corky and Arnold are engrossed in a cop show when Corky hears noises outside. Channeling his inner detective, he grabs the gun and sneaks out to investigate, only to accidentally fire it. They soon discover that Marquis was simply returning an item, prompting the family to acknowledge their exaggerated response to the situation.
