MacGyver (1985)

Episode Overview

While attempting to recover a canister of a lethal chemical in Burma, MacGyver unexpectedly finds himself in the notorious Golden Triangle, an area where the military exploits farmers as laborers in the opium fields. Mistaken for a drug enforcement officer, he is taken prisoner but manages to inspire the enslaved workers to rise against their captors. MacGyver aids their cause by rigging traps around the camp, and when the army comes back to quell the uprising, the real excitement kicks off.
