MacGyver joins his friend, entomologist Dr. Alden, on an expedition in Brazil. They encounter Trumbo, a reclusive landowner who is initially unfriendly. But when a massive column of army ants begins to advance through the jungle, they put aside their differences and collaborate to devise a strategy for defense.
