While picking up his Chinese friend’s brother from a birthday celebration, MacGyver stumbles upon an unusual situation: Paul is being referred to as "The Wish Child." It turns out that a cunning businessman has ensnared him in a scheme, convincing everyone that Paul resembles a legendary boy rumored to possess the secret to immortality. MacGyver realizes he must intervene before Paul becomes fully convinced of his supposed identity as The Wish Child!
