Episode Overview

MacGyver heads back to his hometown of Mission City, Minnesota, to reunite with childhood friends Chuck and Neil for the long-awaited excavation of a time capsule they buried twenty-five years ago. However, MacGyver feels a deep reluctance to proceed, as memories of his late friend Jesse, who passed away during their youth, still linger in his mind. Complicating matters, Chuck's and Neil's sons, Danny and Sean, become entangled in a dangerous drug deal, with a dealer now pursuing Danny. With time running out, MacGyver must track down Danny before the dealer catches up with him.
