Episode Overview
The atomic bomb is unleashed, showcasing its devastating power in Hiroshima and Nagasaki. As a result, Japan capitulates, with their diplomats and military leaders formally signing the surrender documents on the USS Missouri. American troops return home to warm "Welcome Home" banners, embraced by mothers, wives, children, and neighbors. However, before the series concludes, there's one final parade held to celebrate and honor their bravery and sacrifices.
