When Buddy samples a cake made with apples from a nearby orchard, it sparks his creativity to experiment with a fresh recipe. At the same time, Mary feels neglected as Buddy seems preoccupied with his new creation for her upcoming 40th birthday cake. Frustrated, she warns him that she might take her business elsewhere if he doesn’t focus on her special cake.
