Natsume's Book of Friends (2008)

Episode Overview

Natsume discovers an abandoned egg and decides to care for it, unaware that it might belong to a Youkai. When the egg hatches, he finds a rare baby spirit named Tatsumi, who believes Natsume is its parent. As Natsume grows fond of the little spirit, he notices that Tatsumi is becoming weak and ill. Just as he tries to help, a mysterious spirit appears, intent on capturing Tatsumi for its master, who has sinister plans to consume him. Natsume must now protect his newfound friend at all costs.
