Episode Overview

Natsume uncovers the identity of the youkai blood thief: the exorcist Matoba Seiji. With Natori's assistance, he begins to investigate, but soon finds himself captured by Matoba's servant youkai. Matoba reveals his ruthless nature, willing to sacrifice countless youkai to fulfill his own goals. He explains to Natsume his plan to collect the blood in order to break the seal on a formidable youkai. This revelation shows Natsume that there are those who view youkai in a vastly different light than he and Natori do.
