A decade ago, Boston fell victim to a horrifying attack by the D2s, culminating in a massacre at a concert hall, an event forever remembered as the Boston Tragedy. Among the casualties was Kenji Asahina, Takt's father. Stricken by grief, Takt chose to channel his anger into his piano playing, pouring his emotions into every note. Throughout this difficult time, he was supported by a girl named Cosette, who bore an uncanny resemblance to Destiny.
