With Bob away for the weekend, Eric and Donna decide to simulate married life at her home. The rest of the gang is thrilled at the prospect of an all-weekend party at the Pinciotti residence, but Eric and Donna quickly clarify the situation. Meanwhile, Kitty visits the jeweler to collect what she assumes is a surprise ring from Red, only to uncover the unexpected truth: it’s an engagement ring intended for Donna.
