Episode Overview
During the Sahara Race, Speed witnesses a man being targeted by an aircraft with the registration R3513K. Using cutters, he manages to sever the plane's tail. The man, Dr. Digger O. Bone, an archaeologist, is nearly hit by a gunman inside the plane but falls unconscious in the sand. Before succumbing, Dr. Bone reveals that last spring, his daughter Calcia and his assistant, Splint Femur, visited to explore Egyptian ruins. He hands Speed a photo of them and writes "STFT" in the sand before passing away. After researching in a library, likely in Alexandria, Speed and Trixie decode the message. They determine "S" refers to the Saqqara ruins by the Nile, "T" signifies Tamalamal, and the other "T" points to Tutankhamen, while the meaning of "F" remains a mystery. Speed then decides to withdraw from the race.
