Episode Overview
Speed is preparing for the Super Car Race on the newly designed Snack Track, which features seven challenging curves. After a day of practice, he encounters Rock Force, who impressively evades some gangsters by driving on two wheels. While chatting, Speed notices Rock’s car has a unique automatic transmission. When the gangsters damage Rock's vehicle, he visits Pops Racer for repairs. A confrontation ensues, revealing that Rock has a metal brace on his right arm and cannot use it due to injuries inflicted by the gangsters after he refused to throw a race. Speed offers to help by challenging Rock to drive the Mach Five, which has a manual transmission, to help him regain movement in his arm. The next day, Rock triumphs at the Snake Track race, but the gangsters expose his injury. In a surprising turn, Rock retaliates by taking down the gangsters, while Speed looks on.
