Episode Overview
After Speed's recent victory, he and Trixie come under fire from Omar's henchmen. Upon reaching Hawaii, Spittle and Chim Chim find themselves caught in yet another ambush by the same group. Speed realizes that he and Trixie were not the intended targets initially; their recent actions in Hawaii have made them a focus. He analyzes a map given to him by a local girl and uncovers microfilm containing plans for a new laser weapon. While at the library, he learns about the weapon and is rescued by Kana from more attackers. However, Kana is soon captured and taken to an island where the laser gun is being developed. Spittle and Chim Chim are also apprehended, but they all manage to escape just as Omar attempts to test the weapon on them. Speed disables an approaching laser tank with a homing robot, leading to a dramatic explosion of the tank and the island. Trixie assures Speed that they can still make it to his next race on time.
