Detective Fil Waters arrives at the scene and quickly deduces that the crime was personal, indicating the victim had a connection with her killer. As the investigation unfolds, Waters uncovers a variety of intriguing men in Rebecca’s life, including a teenage stalker, a charming guy she affectionately refers to as “Hunk of Love,” an ex-boyfriend hoping for reconciliation, and a friend’s live-in partner. Ultimately, it’s a license plate from a dilapidated vehicle near the crime scene that unravels the mystery.
