Quantum Leap (1989)

Episode Overview

On August 10, 1968, Marine captain Sam, who lost his legs in a Vietnam accident, is staying at a veteran's hospital. There, he confronts the urgent challenge of stopping a fellow patient from taking his own life, as the man struggles with the reality of being paralyzed from the neck down. Compounding Sam's difficulties, his wife is having a hard time grasping that despite his injuries, both she and Sam's host can still find a way to lead fulfilling lives.
