Episode Overview

Prepare for an emotional farewell as Paul Dangerfield, the pathologist, exits the scene. Al is set to marry Ross, while Dr. Jonathan Paige takes the lead. On what should be a joyous day, Dangerfield witnesses his daughter’s wedding, blissfully unaware of the turmoil ahead. He’s summoned to investigate a severe car accident, where he becomes entangled with a troubled woman. Meanwhile, a hijacking goes awry for an unsuspecting motorist, resulting in his vehicle crashing and catching fire. As Al hopes for a distraction-free wedding, Dangerfield is pulled back into work when the hijacked truck driver, Brennan, collapses while giving a statement, raising suspicions about his involvement.
