Cassie turns to Adam for assistance in uncovering details about her father's history, and their investigation takes them to an unsettlingly familiar location. As they reconnect, Adam, excited to spend time with Cassie once more, invites her to the Fire and Ice dance. However, due to her loyalty to Diana, Cassie finds herself in a difficult position with her answer. Meanwhile, in an attempt to be a more involved father, Ethan volunteers to chaperone the dance, which frustrates Adam. Faye seeks Lee's help with a spell intended to grant her personal magic, but the results are disastrous, threatening to unravel the Circle.
