Stardate: 44085.7 As the Enterprise rushes a gravely ill child to the nearest Federation Starbase for urgent care, Data unexpectedly seizes command of the ship and veers towards a remote planet. Upon arrival, he discovers that his creator, Dr. Soong, has called him for a significant conference that may alter his existence. Unbeknownst to Soong, this summons also brings forth Data's twin, Lore, complicating the situation further.
